CITRA TUBUH DAN FUNGSI SEKSUAL WANITA PENDERITA KANKER PAYUDARA DI YAYASAN KANKER INDONESIA

Abstract : Breast cancer raises changes in the body causing body image problems and sexual function. The aim in this study is to indentify the correlation between the body image and the sexual function among female patients with breast cancer at YKI. This research design was the correlation study with the Cross Sectional time approach. Respondents were 35 patients with the breast cancer living at YKI from March to May
2017 and were selected using the consecutive sampling technique. The data were taken with BIS (Body Image Scale) and FSFI (Female Sexual Function Index). The results of this study found that most respondents (89%) have negative body image and 91% was with the poor sexual function. The Rank Spearman test using SPSS 16.0 program resulted in p = 0,000 (α = 0,05) where p ˂ α meaning that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted with the correlation coefficient of +0.852; hence, there is a very
strong positive correlation between the body image and the sexual function among female patients with breast cancer. Suggestions for YKI administrators are to conduct counseling activities such as cognitive behavior therapy either personally or in group to increase their self-acceptance and improve their self-concept.

Abstrak : Kanker payudara menyebabkan perubahan pada tubuh yang dapat menimbulkan masalah citra tubuh serta fungsi seksual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi hubungan antara citra tubuh dengan fungsi seksual wanita penderita kanker payudara di YKI. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi korelasi dengan pendekatan waktu Cross Sectional. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah 35 pasien kanker payudara yang tinggal di YKI pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2017 menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Data diambil dengan
alat ukur BIS (Body Image Scale) dan FSFI (Female Sexual Function Index). Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebagian besar responden (89%) memiliki citra tubuh negatif dan sebagian besar responden (91%) memiliki fungsi seksual buruk. Hasil uji Rank Spearman menggunakan program SPSS 16.0, p = 0,000 (α = 0,05) dimana p ˂ α berarti HO ditolak dan H1 diterima dengan koefisien korelasi +0,852 maka ada hubungan positif sangat kuat antara citra tubuh dan fungsi seksual wanita penderita kanker payudara. Saran bagi pengurus YKI untuk melakukan kegiatan konseling seperti kognitif behavior terapi secara pribadi atau kelompok untuk meningkatkan
penerimaan diri dan memperbaiki konsep diri.
